Jalen and Morgan met in 2015 when Jalen started working at the Humboldt Aquatic Centre. After working together and becoming best friends for those couple of years, Morgan and Jalen officially started dating in May of 2017. Shortly after, he joined her family to celebrate her grade 12 graduation celebration

Jalen and Morgan spent a good chunk of their first years together apart as Jalen attended University in Saskatoon to obtain her Education degree and Morgan attended SaskPolytech in Prince Albert to become a Conservation Officer.

During COVID, Jalen and Morgan moved into a house in Saskatoon where Jalen continued to do her schooling online and Morgan worked towards getting accepted into WACLEA. During that time, they watched every Marvel movie ever made and played a lot of heated Monopoly games.

In 2022, Jalen completed her internship and accepted her first teaching contract with HCI for the following fall. Morgan was also accepted to WACLEA where he graduated in the fall of 2023 and got placed in Humboldt as a part-time officer.

On December 3rd 2023, Morgan proposed to Jalen at 11:30pm in the comfort of their own home.

As Jalen and Morgan prepare for their May 2025 wedding, they reflect on all the love, tears and happiness in their relationship that got them to where they are today.
